Dr. Zhang, an ingenious Research Fellow, receives support from both ARC and NHMRC. His accomplishments in the domains of fluoropolymers, polymer chemistry, and materials science are exemplary. Through pioneering chemistry techniques, he has made noteworthy advancements in constructing precise fluoropolymer structures. Moreover, his molecular-level characterisation has provided valuable insights into the structure-property correlation, enabling specific applications in diverse areas, ranging from energy materials like solid electrolytes to sorbent materials for environmental PFAS remediation, as well as functional biomaterials such as imaging and therapeutic agents. As a testament to his leadership and expertise, Dr. Zhang presides as the Group Leader for the esteemed Zhang Group.
